Default on credit file

Morning, hope all bt mod can help?
I checked my credit file on Friday only to find bt have put a default on my file.
The account it relates to ended in 2010, with no monies owed.
I have never received any further correspondence regarding this account either.
The default was applied in 2013, but has shown up on Friday?
Can anyone help with this please?
Thanks Mike

Re: Default on credit file

For any queries about your credit file it should be raised directly with Equifax.

You can find out how to contact them and what happens at the below link:

Have a question about your credit file?

Are you a current BT Broadband customer?

If not, then did you continue using your btinternet.co e-mail address?

If so, then the charge would most likely be for BT Premium mail which was £1.60 a month, and is now £5 a month.
