Do i need an engineer?
I have an existing BT phone line that hasn't been used for quite some time & have just joined BT to have broadband etc.Could it still be used,or will i have to have an engineer,as BT could maybe run a test on it,to see if it works or not

Re: Do i need an engineer?
Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.
Openreach will complete any network routing to your property and test the line. If a master socket is detected then no visit needs to be made, however an appointment is built on the system just in case a visit is needed. This job is cancelled if activation is successful.
