Does the 14 day cooling off period apply to an auto-renewal?

Hi there, I've been a BT customer for 7-8 years, and my auto-renewal was executed 14 days ago. I'm due to move house in the next two weeks and I realised that there are much cheaper deals, including as a new customer with BT. Does the 14 day cooling off period apply to auto-renewals? I'd ideally like to stay with BT but it's hard justifying it when a new customer can get the same package as me for £20 less a month.

There is no longer any auto renewal.  You should be notified of your upcoming renewal but if you do nothing then you continue on a rolling monthly contract but will loose any discounts you had when you agreed the fixed term contract

check MYBT and see when contract expires
