Email from BT saying I've upgraded

I got an email today titled *****, enjoying your shiny new broadband?

The content basically suggested as I've just upgraded my broadband I could get some discount at EE also.

 

The thing is I've not upgraded my broadband and haven't renewed for some time. Infact I'm waiting for my contract to run out so I can switch away from BT. (not that I can seem to find that info on the BT site)

Is this just a generic email or what?

 

Edit: I found my end date it's 17th Nov. Going to just assume it's a generic email.

You've probably been moved onto a different product and have been sent an automated email
