End of contract charges
I renewed by bt contract for broadband and calls but cancelled TV and sport. I did this through a bt call centre advisor. However when I checked my bill for this month it appears I'm being charged a "liability charge" of £12.70 for tv and sport. Originally I was still being charged for TV and sport in November's bill but I've managed to get that removed. I have an email from bt dated 14 September saying bt TV and sport ends on 5 October. I cancelled this on 29 September during the call to the advisor. I asked if I would be charged for cancelling 6 days early and was told no. Can anyone explain to me this charge? Thanks.
