I recently received an e-mail from BT along the lines of "....you are now at the midpoint of your two year contract, log in to see the upgrades that are available to you".
I did as requested and logged in. I was surprised to note that the "upgrade" was to precisely the same FTTC package as I am on currently, albeit with a price increase of £12.00 per month.
I am sure that this was done accidentally, but I was concerned that it could mislead customers into "upgrading" and paying more than necessary.
