Our estate has finally had FTTP installed and the Openreach checker here say Accepting orders. Postcode DE11 7BN, House Number 22. However when I check on any of the providers it hasn't updated so I cannot order fibre.
Is there a typical lead time from when Openreach sign off FTTP and then the prociders allow you to actually place an order?
this happened to me but I was able to order over the phone but not on line
Over the phone they tell me they have no info and it's not possible at the moment 😞
thats a bummer, as when BT eventually got it working properly it is very good. hope it gets sorted for you soon
there is no way to speed up this process??? Or any ideas on a timescale from Openreach AO to BT AO
Can you check this DSL Checker (using either phone number or full address but NOT postcode only) and copy and post what is say's? Please remove your phone number or address from the results.
This will show what IS available.

For all ADSL and WBC Fibre to the Cabinet (VDSL or G.fast) services, the stable line rate will be determined during the first 10 days of service usage.
FTTP is (as it say's) to the Premises, so no Cabinet involved. However the "FTTP" should still show up on the address checker option at the DSL Checker, so as yet it's not been updated.
My advice for now, keep an eye on that checker and as soon as it says WBC FTTP in the top section, you should be good to go.
How long ago did the Openreach site say it was available?
it was about a week and a half ago is there a usual amount of time between system 1 and system 2?
