Final bill refund

I left BT on 20 the November, the last payment going out of my account on 12 th. I believe I am owed a refund for the advance payments made and this should be paid within 14 working days. I have still not received any refund. When can I expect this to go back into my account?

Have you received a final bill for the account? I would expect it to state that it's such a type of bill if you are ending all services for that account. It is normally generated a while after the services end date.

I would expect the final bill would sum up all previous advance payments and also any outstanding charges and give a final payment/refund figure. That would be processed via your bank account a certain time after the final bill date.

That link does indeed state

"As from 17 October 2014, you will receive your refund within 14 days of the agreed stop date."

which to me suggests that they would have had to have generated a final bill well before that deadline?
