Frustrated with BT

I'm honestly so frustrated with Internet and pine providers. I had this problem with sky and it took 2 weeks to resolve now with BT.
I ordered BT Infinity and the phone line package 2 weeks ago. Everything went fine activation date was Monday 23. Nothing happened that day. It says to wait until midnight before calling. I did that and still nothing. I chatted to someone online Tuesday morning who said the activation will take place in a minute and will be done by the end of the day. I called again around 4 as I was getting impatience, apparently there was a problem in the area and will be done by midnight again. Nothing happen again by midnight. Now Wednesday i called them first thing and apparently my order was messed. This is the message I received from them.

Hello BT here,

This is to inform you that I was just trying to chase your order and i was talking to OPENREACH our supplier and they are saying that because of some sysytem error your orer was in delay so they are saying that this issue will be resolved by MONDAY 30/12 and ON that day your LANDLINE will be working ....

IN case of any other query simply revert tothis text we will answer you more quickly,

I WAS FUMING BY THIS MESSAGE.
I was still on the phone while this message came to my phone. I work and study from home how I'm I suppose to go a whole week without Internet again. I am now waiting for the Manager to call me back cause I'm not waiting till Monday

Openreach do the work for all providers except cable and at this time of the year, things get very busy as people try and get service by Christmas.

 

There is not much BT Retail can do about any delay.

I'm really sorry for the problems you are having with your order.

The best thing for you to do would be to contact our order specialist team and allow them the chance to put things right.
