Gift Card Again, 60 days now, Complete farce

I had my BT package installed on 20-11-2014

Claimed my gift card the next day

Waited 30 days , no gift card

Rang BT, sorry we will send you out a gift card

Gift card arrived 5 days later , for £80 pounds should be for £125 pounds

Rang BT , sorry dont use that gift card we will send you one in 15 days

Waited 15 days, no gift card

Rang BT , sorry we will send it in the next 15 days

A complete farce, its now 60 days and no gift card.

Wanted to use it over the Christmas period, Should have stayed with Talk Talk

Instead I was tempted by the Gift Card offer.

I wanted to upgrade to unlimited boardband, but want this sorting first

Regarding the E-mail

i now understand the problem

In the mail you said my order was date 03-12-2014  , which the offer was £80

I have replied to your mail with my order confimation email attached which states the order date

as 31-11-2014 , which the offer was £125 , hence the issue?

You need to reply to the e-mail you received from the forum team, and not via this thread, as it needs to be tracked.

 

Also, there is no such date as the 31/11/14, as there are only 30 days in November.

Its possible if the offer was until the end of November, then you missed it.

 

You do seem to be unsure of your dates, as your original post says it was installed on 20-11-2014, which means you order date would have been before that.

Sorry the order date on the email I sent you is 31-10-2014

Install 20-11-2014

I have replied via the email I was sent, with my order confirmation email attached awaiting a reply

I am just a customer, however I am sure you will get another reply from the BT team.

 

If you can keep all correspondence via their e-mail, it is the best way.

 

If you would like to update this thread when the problem is solved, then that would help to close the thread.

Hi Everyone,

 

Just to update you all, the gift card team have now issued the correct voucher amount. There was a delay processing the bt.com order that meant the order was showing a few days later on our systems and this resulted in the vouchers team sending the wrong amount. After this delay was pointed out to them they have corrected the mistake.

 

@stanthesoundgetz thanks for your patience whilst this was being sorted and once again I'm sorry about the mistake with your vouchers.
