I wasn't talking about mobile data. You've conveniently ignored the speed / keep connected promise and end of contract price promise which no one should be paying extra for, which I'm sure you know about by now 😂 👍
Well the speed & end of contract stuff are ofcom guidelines which every provider has to follow on every package so they're not perks so to speak. If the keep connected promise is law however then why can't i think of a similar thing from any other provider?
What does no extra cost actually mean? Will it suddenly go up by £3.00 a month. Do I have to pay for another hub etc. Will a technician have to come and install it. I don't trust this at all as everything got worse after they swapped from Yahoo
We don't currently have a fibre broadband connection at the house so how can Halo increase our broadband speeds. Also we have the special offer for BT sport because we have Sky will that continue with Halo

So BT's way of getting round the "You will never pay more than a new customer" was simply to discontinue Halo 1 and Halo 2 from sale, meaning new customers cannot get Halo 1 or 2, so, they don't have to stick to their promise..
Instead you have to pay another £4 for Halo 3
Those who were suspicious of this whole scheme were very right to be suspicious, it was a trap to get around the price promise.
Thankfully, as one who didn't get drawn into it, I am still currently paying £32.99 a month for Fibre 2 (70mbit) with free anytime calls

I noticed this part of the wording was removed from the Halo 3. I take it this is no longer part of the service? I have been paying £39.99 for 3 years, 18 months in contract, then a month to month rolling contract, with FTTP seemingly driving down the prices and suffering from poor speeds (until a recent line fix) I was looking to revise this or go elsewhere.
