Halo v Halo 2 - Price Fix Question

Help appreciated. 

My Halo 1 subscription includes the BT price promise that my bill won't go up when my contract ends.

I've received a letter from BT that states that if I stick with Halo 1 and don't opt for Halo 2 then my contract will end and the broadband price will increase.

I'm trying to reconcile the apparent contradiction here.

Hi @IandeBures  The Halo terms show the Price promise on point 8. As you are nearing the end of your contract why not give us a call and we can look at the best deal and price for you.
