Heads up. New xbox pass email.

Hi all. 

Not sure what to make of this but be aware of an email I got today.

You've recently had a credit for an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription that was on your bill. We'll be removing the service if it's still on your account as it may have been added fraudulently.

It looks like I'll need to call again! These extras/Offers are so overly complicated. This would be the 3rd time I'll need to call about this. It's just mad.

Seems to me they've realised it's been added fraudently in lots of cases & it reads as though you only need to contact them if you do want it

So I called. 

Staff were helpful but there are more hurdles before this gets sorted. First thing is that nothing can be done today, Friday is when this can be sent off. Then I will have to wait for Microsoft to send the instructions again to apply the Pass, around 5 working days.

Unfortunately there is nothing "only" about it. This will be the 3rd time I've added the pass. They send the offers when account/broadband package starts, so they know who is entitled to them.
