Re customer service
Sadly it's a race to the bottom.
To me it's always a good start if I can actually understand what's being said and vice versa .
But the fact remains you can employ a dozen third world staff to one local.
You can have inexpensive broadband but that comes at a price.

Where staff are located is irrelevant in my opinion, it's their knowledge and ability to resolve problems that counts.
"You can have inexpensive broadband but that comes at a price." - BT/EE is not inexpensive yet their customer support often seems something to be desired, so price isn't that relevant.
We make our own choices based upon what we perceive to be the best for our own needs, often based on our own experience. Some will like a cheap service and others will dislike a higher end service, it's the service that the individual receives that counts, and that varies.
