I've been at my address for 18 years, and my property is almost 200 years old. The address is correct with Royal Mail, and with my Local Authority. However, whenever I upgrade my BT services, and/or if new equipment needs to be sent to my address, the address Openreach seem to insist that I live at, is incorrect.
As I said above, I have been at this address for 18 years, and this has been a constant issue with BT. I have attempted to get this sorted many, many times. Whenever I contact BT, they say that they hold my correct address details, and raise a ticket with Openreach, to correct my address with them.
I spoke to BT yesterday about a WIFI/equipment issue, and as a result they are sending new equipment out to me. I clarified that the address they have for me was correct, which it was. However, when I received the email confirming the equipment was being issued, and a subsequent email stating it had been issued with the date of delivery etc, the wrong address is showing.....yet again!!!
I'm at my wits end over this as it has been going on for 18 years! Can anyone advise what I can do to resolve this once and for all? Thank you in advance, and sorry this post is so long.
