Incorrect reward card amount and Cashback cheque not received

 Hi,

     I also joined BT via MSE in June, terms were 100 pound mastercard and 50 pound cheque after 45 days.

I recieved my mastercard with only 25 pounds on, and no sign of a 50 pound cheque.

BT admited their mistake and said i would recive extra 75 pound after 30 days ... but nothing came.

After a few calls to them and some false promises i find i am getting nowhere.

 

My order number is  AJMxxxxxxxxxxxxxx order date was 03/06/2017, and i was connected end of June.

I made my claims a day or 2 after connection. I would be grateful for any help.

Hi @welsh-scarl Sorry that you have not had the correct amount applied to your Reward Card and not received your cashback cheque.

Hi John,

           btw thanks for investigating this.

 

Today i have had an email off bt saying i did not meet the terms and ordered over the phone ?

This was not the case and i printed off the paperwork online when i ordered, 0n the 03/06/2017.

 

BT were unable to to install my broadband on the original date 19/06/17,i dont know why .. probably because they were busy.

A phone call was made and another date was arranged,about a week later.. it was their problem.

At the time the person on the phone said it would not effect the reward.

 

I actually suffered having no internet or phone line for a week,because of their delay.

 

Why would they even send me 25 pound card if it was a phone order.

ha,

    just had another email saying they have checked i am eligible and will add the 75 pound within 10 days .... had promises before .. we will see.

 

also asked if i filled the 50 pound cheque claim form online , told them yes ... again see what happens

Reward card has now been sorted, just waiting on the 50 pound cheque.

Thank you for posting back. I'm glad to hear the rewards card has been sorted. I gave your mobile number a quick call, I'm sorry I didn't get speaking to you today. Thank you for taking my call today. I got confirmation from our promotions team that they've reissued the cheque and this should arrive within the next 30 days.

 

If for any reason you don't receive that cheque, please post back and I'll chase this for you.
