Infinity activated on Tuesday, but no equipment has arrived

Hi, 

I have 2 problems.

Firstly, I am a returning customer so I do have a Hub 5 and  a youview box already, but I was not allowed to subscribe without equipment.

I was activated on Tuesday (17th April) but my TV package was not. I get the IPC6007 message. I seem to remember something like this happening the last time I subscribed..... can't remember how it was resolved though. Possibly the order not being closed off properly, or something similar?

The other thing is, that Parcel Force say they delivered my equipment on Monday in a safe and hidden place, according to tracking, but no record left for me to tell me where. My neighbours don't have it, and I live in a multistory block of flats with 17 floors and 6 flats to each floor, so could be anywhere and anyone could have it. Live chat told passed me to sales who said they couldnt help. I believe my package holds a smart hub, which would be an upgrade to my HH5.

Can anyone suggest what I do about this?

With regards to the IPC error can you try these steps?

  1. Try to access the BT Player, press the Home (or YouView) button, then scroll to and select BT Player
  2. If you still see the error message then try restarting your equipment by following these steps:
    • First, restart your Hub
    • Wait for the broadband light on your Hub to go blue
    • Restart your set top box, using the power switch on the back
    • Now check if you still receive the error
  3. Check your software version is up to date. To do this, press the Home (or YouView) button, then go to Settings > Software Information > Update Software and press OK
  4. Check your On Demand players are up to date by pressing the Home (or YouView) button, then going to Settings > Software Information > Update players & apps and press OK

Thanks for reply. I am not getting a 'click here to contact the mods' option when I click on your username, only a link to your profile.

I will go and try out your suggestions for the IPC error.

IPC error is fixed with restarting hub and youwview box, thanks 🙂
