Introducing BT’s Home Essentials

Our Home Essentials plan is a reliable and affordable way for those who receive support like Universal Credit or Pension Credit (Guarantee Credit) to be able to stay connected and receive the same assistance and opportunities as others.  Home essential will be replacing BT Basic.

We believe every home in the UK deserves to stay connected, no matter their circumstances. And we understand how important internet access is to our everyday lives. It’s how we keep in touch with friends and family, it’s how we shop, and it’s how we bank. It’s essential for most homes.

Let’s take a look at the three new packages which will be available to new customers and existing customers, wishing to regrade.

Home Essentials - Unlimited Fibre Essential plan £15 pm

Home Essentials - Unlimited Fibre plan £ 20 pm

  • 12-month eligibility
  • Make unlimited calls to any UK landline number or UK mobile, day or night
  • 12-month eligibility

Our Fibre plans offer a strong and reliable connection. They include unlimited monthly usage, so they’re great for browsing, streaming, and downloading at any time of the day or night. Plus, all our plans come with a personalised Stay Fast Guarantee. For reliable broadband speeds all day, every day.

For homes that aren’t looking to go online, but that want to stay in touch with the world, we have our call-only plan, with unlimited minutes to all UK landline and mobiles.

It’s never been easier to apply. Our advisers will run a simple and quick eligibility check, and get our customers connected.  To make sure we continue to offer the right support and the right plan, we run another eligibility check after 12 months.  We’ll then get in touch with you to let you know if anything needs to change, or if you can continue the same plan for another 12 months.

If you think one of these plans may suit your needs, please check out this link to place an order or find out more about BT’s Home Essentials here, bt.com/home-essentials
