Is hybrid modem free with full fibre halo 3?

I've had bt halo for 24 months and just upgraded to the faster fibre that's now in my area and upgraded for another 24 months. I have the latest smart hub but not a hybrid. Should I have received this for free!?

The Hybrid Connect Modem comes with Halo 3+, not with Halo 3.
