Is there a contact number for the Switching Team?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section. I am trying to find a contact number for the Switching Team. I have emailed them, but not had a response. I was told by a BT employee that they would be in touch in 15 working days (which is a fortnight today). But as I am currently with both TalkTalk (my old provider) and BT (my new provider), I need to contact the Switching Team, for them to contact TalkTalk, to inform them (TT) that they (BT) are taking over my line (+fees for leaving my contract early). TalkTalk won't release me from my contract otherwise.

Re: Is there a contact number for the Switching Team?

the procedure when you are changing provider is that you place order with your new provider (BT) and they will then notify your existing provider (TT) they they are now taking over your line.  TT will then contact you about leaving  there is no switching team as such

Ah, ok. So the email for the Switching Team is useless? Is there a dept that I could speak to? It's only been a week since I emailed them, but I just wanted to know if there had been an update. I don't want to pay another TalkTalk bill when I am not even with them anymore.

try phoning CS 0800800150 from mobile

you should have received an email from BT about your new contract and the expected changeover date
