Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.
You need a physical medium to deliver broadband, its either copper or fibre. That is included in the cost of your broadband.
If you also want a phone service to allow you to make and receive calls, then that is charged separately.
The term "landline" no longer has any meaning.
