Leaving BT

I am leaving bt soon. I was wondering about 30 day cooling period? Can I change network provider before hand? Is there a way I can cancel before 30 days?

For fixed line phone and broadband, you can switch by asking your new provider to do a working line takeover/transfer, this takes around 14 days and is your new providers responsibility to arrange.
The other option is you ask BT to cease your services, you'll need to give 30 days notice to end the agreement.

You have to choose one or the other.
