Logged out of my email account

I'm becoming very frustrated with this. I got a message saying that my email account had suspicious activity and that I needed to change my password so did what it said it took me to extra security questions date of birth postcode and a security question it then kept saying the information was incorrect I have moved last year but put my last postcode  . I have been unable to get any further. Since moving I don't have any bt services. I need to get back in to this account as this is my primary account and it has important documents in it

Call BT 030.1234.150 and explain the problem to them. They may reset your password while you are on the phone, subject to answering security questions or they may send you a PIN number in order to reset your password.

On no account disclose that PINnumber to any person that may call you and purport to be from BT.
