Hi all hoping to get some help with our ongoing situation
We have recently moved house and arranged to take a phone number and broadband with us back on 28th August after 6-8 arranged set up dates every time BT have failed to do the switch over and after endless hours talking to different customer advisors we are struggling to work out how to move forward. Its now 25th September, can anyone from BT or in the forum give us advise ton how to get this sorted. We are desperate now and dont know who to call.
are you a BT phone and broadband customer? if BT have you contacted the home move team
is your new home FTTP?
Hi yes we have been with BT for years at our pervious address, not sure about FTTP
is home a new build got something like this
If you have moved to an address which is not connected to the same BT Exchange building, then you would not be able to take your number with you.
What was the last date you were given for your phone line to be provided?
Do you now live in a remote area, where there might not be any Openreach infrastructure?
as you don't have phone enter address and post results
Hi the house is 2 miles away same exchange and we have been told its ok, just checked and we have had a new Mk4 openreach master socket and believe it is a fibre broadband , its a built top area.
The premise/line is associated with exchange which is NOT part of current fibre priority programme.
The premise/line is associated with exchange where WLR is not withdrawn.
The premise/line is associated with exchange where SOADSL service is restricted.
FTTP is not available.
hope that makes sense?
was that all you got when running dslchecker
there is normally a table with expected connection stats
