How long does the transfer from one property to another take ?
What happens to my contract, does it stay the same or do I have to extend it ?
You will need to start a new phone line contract but your broadband contract will just continue.
You should give BT at least a months notice of your move.

The line part of the contract is renewed for 12 months, no option around that but you are correct, you're billed as a bundle.
If your current broadband deal has more than 12 months you can take it with you and remain on the same promotion, if it's under that why not see what new offers are available ?
Home move orders vary, if there is a stopped line it can be reactivated in 4 days give or so, if there is a working line then 14 days minimum lead time is required, if there is no line then it depends when the next available engineer is, so basically it depends on what is at the target address.
I asked BT and the contract AND discount expires " 08/07/2019. "

It might be worth asking to renew when you move, otherwise in July 2019 your discounts will end, you would still have a contract on the line so if you switched you'll get early termination charges.
