Moving home activation 1 week delay

Hi,

I will move at the end of August and arrange a home move, three weeks ago.

I realized that the activation date is 7 days later after my moving date.

I tried to change the activation date but it suggests later dates.

It says no need an engineer visit. So why there is a 1-week gap?

Thanks.

Re: Moving home activation 1 week delay

Would love to know this too....and also why BT are so shockingly bad...ordered mine on 18th.... they told me I had no phone line on my current contract, so cancelled order, then ordered phone line was told it would take 48 hours and then 48 hours to do home move order but would have broadband on Monday 31st August at the latest, I moved on 28th after a number of errors from BT I still have no WiFi and now being told it will be connected on 18th...absolutely disgusting service, raised a complaint, manager was going to call me back....that was 3 days ago..... will never use BT again after this....have had to take several days as unpaid leave as supposed to be working from home...son just started secondary school and can not access online homework and spent nearly £50 on additional data on our mobiles.... absolutely disgusted with the whole thing
