back in May i was sold another 24month contract to continue with BT at the same offer price prior, Fibre 1.
i will be moving house in December and unfortunately the area does not have BT fibre, only normal adsl broadband.
what do i do? will i have to pay out 20 months of contract?!
i've been with BT over a decade....if they can't provide the same service in the new area will they be willing to break the contract?
BT will provide whatever service is available. If a specific product needed fibre enabled broadband to work, then you would not have to pay for those services.
If you follow the BT Home Move process, the team there will tell you what adjustments will be mad.
Basic ADSL broadband now cost £29.99 including line rental, so that will give you some idea of any price reduction.
Moving home does not allow cancellation, unless BT cannot provide any service at your new house.
