Need more time to pay my bill

I recently contacted bt regarding my outstanding balance which i thought I could pay by 05/09/2019. However due unforseen circumstances this is is not going to be possible. I understand that my service is due to be restricted by 5/09/2019 and fully restricted by 13/09/2019. I should be able to pay my full balance by 03/10/2019. Is there any way i could keep my full services until03 October 2019 without any interruptions as its vital due to health reasons.
