I recently moved into a new build property and BT do not yet recognise my postcode, although our postcode is recognised by Royal Mail. I have tried several times over the past few weeks to talk to someone via phone so that we can order a Broadband and TV package from BT but have been given various answers by different employees. Most commonly I have been told that until my postcode is recognised there is nothing that they can do. I have also been told that I must first get a phone line then wait 10 days for broadband and then wait further for TV. The property developer has advised me that BT is already plumbed in to the building and I have a Bt openreach port in the flat. Can anyone help to get our postcode recognised so that we can place an order asap?
