New TV bundle but no new box upgrade

Hi there, I switched to a better deal on my broadband package late last week, and I'm very pleased with it. I was fortunate to change from my outdated and inferior TV essential plan to one on sale for £6 instead of the usual £17. Delighted!

The new TV box pro, which I read is a part of the TV bundle, wasn't made available to me. I did enquire about it but was told that the YouView box that was sent to me in May 2019,  would be sufficient unless it started to deteriorate. Do you think it's worthwhile to pursue the new box?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

if your existing box is compatible with your new package then can see why you would get a new box
