Re: RE:Totally Unlimited Broadband from BT

He got his dates wrong, Tues was the 5th not the 4th,

Either way he ordered Tuesday and was throttle free by Thu, 2 days.

Anyway, semantics.

Any idea on earth why i have been totally throttled now?

He orderd on the Monday (I know that because I helped with the order) Activated on Tuesday.

I don't know why you have been totally throttled, have you tried restarting the HomeHub? If the throttling has not been sorted out by Tuesday then contact the mods.

Re: RE:Totally Unlimited Broadband from BT

Oh dont you worry, i shall 😉

Thanks for your help.

p.s. just to confirm, its officially 5 days before throttling is lifted, not 5 working days?

Hence from today 5 days is Wed so hopefully Wed at the latest.

Cheers.

You're very welcome 🙂 It's 5 working days, but most orders seem to be going thru on 3 working days.

Re: RE:Totally Unlimited Broadband from BT

Well well well.

Just for the craic, i ran a test just now, when all p2p normally would be throttled and...

Is your upload traffic rate limited?

There is no indication that your ISP rate limits your uploads.

Is your download traffic rate limited?

There is no indication that your ISP rate limits your downloads.

BINGO!

So instead of upto 5 working days it actually took one non-working day?!

I will never, ever, work BT out!

Anyway, i have what i wanted.

Once again thanks Ratty Smiley Happy

Re: New Totally Unlimited usage

Should be okay to go up

it's when you go down that can be a problem (if still in contract)

Re: New Totally Unlimited usage

Hi

Just used p2p for the first time in ages. I am being throttled so checked my account. I have Unlimited BT Infinity 2. I thought this was the throttled service as i joined on 25th Jan 13 but reading the forum is appears when I took out BT Sport in July i have also resigned to Unlimited BT Infinity 2. Am I correct before i try and get this resolved.
