I have just been reading the problems a person reported on the renewing his/her contract, which apparently took 3 hours on the phone. I have spent at least 5 hours now on the phone. The last occasion was yesterday when I was on for 1 hr. 4 min. Finished with being told, Cannot do contracts, you will have to ring 150 in 5 days time, when the office will have received my report. I am a 94 year old man just trying to keep on top of things. Having gone through my direct debits on BT for the past 18 months, I have found that I rarely get the same charge two months in a row. Variances are sometimes pence, other times £s. Need some help, don’t look. Like getting it from ‘ working from home BT people’.
