No funds for direct debit and can't pay till after date of payment help

Hi I have my direct debit unpaid due to insufficient funds. I'm my by account it says my bill should be paid on Monday but unfortunately I do not have the funds  till Wednesday. I usually go on live chat but am unable to connect to an advisor at this time. Please can I have some advice on what to do as I have tried to contact bt  by telephone but had no success and unfortunately I am unwell at this time and this is really worrying me as I need my internet to keep in contact with family members. I would be very grateful for any advice or help thankyou.
