Curious,

I upgraded from 150 to 500 for a £1 and no change in contract at the beginning of the week.

I've just had another email from BT saying that I can upgrade from 500 to 900 for another £1!

@Rory  Try going through MyBT if not already tried. That’s how I did it because the link in the email did’t  work.

Yes, did that.  Only thing I can see is a TV package offer, even I go to my package and click on "Upgrade".   

I can't go past that page without accepting the TV package.

Yes it goes through all available packages but as long as you don’t click on them unless you want them the final outlay should be what was promised in the email offer.
Guess what I got an email today offering free upgrade and no recontract to 900mbs, just after I accepted snd upgrafed to 500mbs🤣 strange things happening in BT!

Hi,

So I have an offer to increase my BB speed from 150 to 500 for £1 a month.

However the email and offer page is stuck on the TV page, and the "Checkout Just Broadband" box is not clickable.

Great offer then! Can't take it.

I just tried again and there's no way to get past the TV package without accepting. So I did that, then deselected it at the next page, and it just goes back to offering me the same package.

I really don't want to continue after accepting the TV package as I'm not sure at what point I'm committed.

Anyway, I guess it doesn't really matter - I can't say I feel like the speed I get now is any way a problem.
