After a near two month delay (which included a new pole in a neighbour's garden) Openreach installed FF on Saturday.
Today, Monday, my order is still shown as Open and the engineer visit is still showing as the original appointment weeks ago.
Is this normal for Openreach to delay telling BT that they have done the install for my new service to start?

If Openreach only installed the fibre connection on Saturday, its likely going to be at least a couple of days for the network build to be completed. If you have not heard anything by the end of this week, give BT a call.
