Sorry I not know what that means....ISP etc
Are you moving to BT from another provider - TT, SKY, VIRGIN etc
whay service did you have ?
As virgin a totally different system it is not a simple move of provider. Do you know if you are getting fibre to your premises (FTTP) or is it G.FAST which is fibre to street cab and copper to your home
if you knew your phone number and had active line the you could run dslchecker from link I posted earlier
So if G.FAST then it is delivered over your phone line so as previously posted you really need to check to see if you do, as you were advised, have a working phone line
did you already have an old Openreach phone line to your home and if so have you had a new socket installed by openreach for G.FAST
You would need a new phone master socket for G.FAST
Yes, I already have an open reach phone socket installed 18 months ago. I will purchase a phone tomorrow to get my number.
No need to spend any more than £10 for a cheap corded phone. Argos do one for £6.99.
Plug it in, and if you get dial tone, then dial 17070, and your number will be read out.
Got a phone and the line sounds like its working but I can't dial out so no number.
