as mods have already said you need to phone FTTP team as the mods cannot help with FTTP cases
I did phone the FTTP team and got back the fact they are exclusive suppliers
I just wanted to find out if that sounds correct or if, like I suspect, they are lying
If BT Retail have paid Openreach for the infrastructure for their customers, then there may well be an exclusive agreement for a period of time, so they can recoup the installation cost.
If this is the case, why am I not told about it during the order process?
No idea, perhaps your new ISP is unaware of any arrangement?
I don`t think you will find the answer on this forum. You will just have accept what you have already been told by the FTTP people.
