Re: Asked to contact ORDI ROBOT to change property address for Infinity

Dear David,

Please can you submit an ORDI request to Openreach. I've tried asking 6 different BT live chat agents and none of them have understood or done it still after a month.

Our address is wrong in the database, the postcode you have on file is incorrect and is blocking fibre from being able to be set up. I don't see a Contact the Moderator link in your profile.

Kind regards,

Louise

Re: Asked to contact ORDI ROBOT to change property address for Infinity

Welcome to this user forum.

I have moved your post to this new thread, so you can get personal help from the community or moderators, so please watch this thread for updates.

The contact link is by invitation only.

Is your address correct on the Royal Mail Postcode Database?

Do you have a BT Retail phone line?

ORDI - Please contact Openreach Address Matching Team and submit ORDI request

Hello,

Openreach have asked that BT please contact Openreach's address matching team and submit an ORDI request, because the address is not currently correct. Until this is fixed our property cannot get Infinity fibre broadband.

I'm guessing I should not write my personal details here.

Please help.

Kind regards,

Louise

Or any BT Wholesale WLR phone line with another BT-based provider?

Re: Asked to contact ORDI ROBOT to change property address for Infinity

Hello Keith,

Yes our address is on the Royal Mail Postcode Database.

We have a BT phoneline, but it's currently deactivated because we couldn't get broadband.

It's just 1 letter in the postcode is wrong, but it's causing massive issues.

Only your existing service provider can request a database update, which is why I asked whether your current provider is BT Retail?

Do not post any personal info her.

Postcode should be TR20 8FA. Currently BT have it incorrectly as TR20 8YA

So you are not with any provider at the moment, and are trying to place a new order with BT Retail.

I have to ask this, before I can ask a moderator to help.

Yes we are trying to get BT Openreach Infinity but they have said that BT has to contact them with an ORDI request first.

I assume you mean BT Infinity?

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.
