After 8 years with BT I've found loyalty means nothing, I asked for the same price as a new EE user but was told I couldn't get it as BT and EE are the same company. So well done BT you've now lost me and my mothers as customers. We're busy transferring to VODAFONE and both saving £10+/month for a quicker fibre.
