Exactly the same has happened to me. I signed up for BT essential broadband at £24.99 pcm a few months ago and last month mid month my bill shows a change of service. But I am still on exactly the same package. There is a refund and a discount removed and another added, so my total is 52p more than usual. I do not pay for line rental in advance, so can’t be anything to do with that. Most confusing.
anyone from BT, can you explain. I don’t want to ring you for something so small, but am most curious.
there was a price increase of about 1.3% for CPI at end of march
