Re: Dementia and don't want upgrade

Go to solution

We have had two engineers attend which incurrs the cost of carers to attend as well to support the 97 year old. Fibre internet is working fine for two weeks now.

They claim another visit is required, so another £90 on carers.

Why should we believe it will work this time, and why should we believe the switctover will be made while the engineer is in attendance?

We keep on asking for the switch to be done remotely to save everyone the hassle and expence. They just block this suggestion.

Sorry, just pugging in doesnt work if the switch hasnt been made at the "exchange"

I have moved you on to your own thread so that you get answers specific to your problem and not cause confusion with the thread you posted on.

Hi @marktan

I'm not sure of the reason why the second engineer is required, because we don't have access to customer accounts here in the community. When the engineer arrives, they will do their very best to make sure everything is set up and ready to go before they leave.

Please keep us updated with what happens with the visit.

Sorry, I might be being a little dense here, but it is also not clear what you are actually asking.

“Fibre internet is working fine for two weeks now.” …so, what is the problem?

And “Why should we believe it will work this time, …” …why should you believe what should work?
