refer a friend not received amazon voucher

I passed the refer a friend link  to a friend which was used in October 2021, I had a confirmation email which indicated that once the recipient  paid the first bill I would receive a amazon voucher,  It did not materialize.

I was than informed it was sent on the 18/01/22 That was not true & I should check my junk mail.

I still have not received my amazon voucher.
