Reconnection after paying bill late payment

Was disconnected yesterday (bank holiday) was only able to pay bill yesterday 14 days late but its paid, phone line back on, bt sim back on but broadband is not and have been told because of bank holiday it cant be reconnected untill tuesday , how can you disconect someone on a bank holiday but not reconnect, i thought this was an automated process, bill paid system lifts ban. can someone look at this

This is only a customer to customer forum

 

It probably needs manual intervention to rebuild the connection after 14 days, and because of the holiday period, the next working day would be next Tuesday.

It was only disconected 4 hours untill i paid the bill not 14 days , i was late in paying bill 14 days

Thanks for your post and welcome back!

 

I'm sorry that your broadband hasn't been reconnected!  As long as payment has been received and has ledgered on your account then the reconnection can take up to 24 hours and it's an automated process.

 

Have a chat with our >>Billing Live Chat Team<< to see if they can get you sorted out.  Keep me posted how you get on.

Cant use live chat will not connect to chat server , prob because i have no internet. Can someone call me ? last time i called BT they pushed me from pillar to pillar to be told sorry noone can help me

You will just have to wait until its activated as @RobbieMac has said.

You may have to restart the home hub.

But its gone 24hrs and it should have been reconnected and im sitting here waiting , cannot seem to get any where calling BT i even got transfered to CS to ordering lol as they thought i wanted to purchase BB. its driving me nuts now

Just a quick one.

 

Many thanks to all who made this reconection happen on an easter sunday . Must say 10/10 on BT's employees on keeping a happy customer , customer for life now i think
