Contacted BT as my contract expires April 24, was not happy with terms offered, told that on April 24 they will not cut me off but will increase charge once out of contract. Difficult to change provider during lockdown due to house call required, surely present contract should run without extra charge until normal services restored. I am a pensioner on government extremely vulnerable list and cannot risk any changeover at present but do not think I should pay extra once contract expires. Would appreciate comment
It standard when you took out your current contract you mast have got a discount to renew for the duration of the term but you would also have been told that the cost will increase (discount ceases) unless you renew or move to another ISP. It is no secret
