I keep getting emails about my account, which should have been paid by 30/5/2020. Had a conversation with online advisor and we agreed that I could pay the rest of my bill by 18/6/202. However, I'm getting more and more concerned that I'll be cut off once the 30/5/2020 deadline passes. I have already paid some of my bill off, as promised, but the nagging doubt of facing restrictions is heavy on my mind. I need help and clarification.
I suspect that the emails are probably computer generated as a matter of course and cannot be stopped. All the same, the sensible thing to do would be to ring back and clarify your position with them
Just make sure you use a known BT number such as 0800800150 or one from a past bill or one from the BT Website, don't use a number from the email just in case it is dodgy
