Returning router during lockdown

Go to solution

Hi all,

My contract ended recently and I've received a bag through the post to return my BT Home Hub with. Unfortunately we are in a lockdown and should only leave the house for essential reasons, like buying food.

 - Is there a date I'm required to return the equipment by? If so it might be difficult to visit my local Post Office, as returning a router might not be deemed essential.

- I have a post box close by, would it be a good idea to post the router via a post box, or should it really go to the Post Office.

Thanks,

Matt

@MattC1

Unless it was issued after 13th December 2019, there is no need to return it once your contract has finished.

The unit was issued October 2018, so it shouldn't need returning then?

Correct. BT send out the return bags as they are obliged to do by recycling regulations.
