On a recent bill under "What you used" there are two phone numbers.
One is my correct number, and the other is for an 0331* ****** number. Fortunately, there a note "You didn't make any calls on this line".
I have no idea what this number is - can anyone please help?

My bill says the same.
Yes it is a Smart talk number. It's the service ID number.
SmartTalk numbers are given a "virtual" phone number, which is then overridden by your device mobile number, when you make a call. This "virtual" number is needed to allow the call to be routed to its destination, over the normal telephone network.
Sometimes if you register SmartTalk on a device, then delete it, or change your mind, the "virtual" number can still be shown on your bill, even if you did not make any calls.
Its nothing to worry about.
It has been known, under fault conditions, for the "virtual" number to be displayed at the destination, instead of the mobile number, which can cause a lot of confusion, as you cannot call it back.
This fault condition has been reported before on this forum.
