Struggling to pay bill but in contract till 26/10/22

I'm on Fibre 1 and pay as you go calling plan. Due to ill health I am now really struggling to pay the bill each month. But if I cancel I also know there will be a bill because I'm in contract. So is there anyway to down grade a package without exit fees.

You'd be better off calling customer services and explaining your personal situation to them and see if there is anything they can do to help.
