Stuck without internet due to covid/TalkTalk

I need major help. Yesterday was supposed to my fibre activation day and the engineer couldn't carry out the job due to covid. I talked to talktalk straightaway and told them not to disconnect my line for another month, they disconnected it anyway so I have no internet. I contacted my engineer and he said I'll have to wait a couple of weeks for him to comeback but I need the internet asap as I work from home and my data is running out. He told me that I could ask bt for some temporary internet so I guess I'm hoping for that by writing this. Thank you in advance ☹️

This is only a customer to customer forum. You will have to contact BT to see if they can offer you an ADSL connection, or perhaps loan you a 4G hub.

It would not have been possible for TT to reconnect you, as your line has now been taken over by BT Retail.
