Temporary loss of benefits while upgrading to Full Fibre

I chose to upgrade to Full Fibre on 6th October and my installation date is 20th October.

As part of the renewal I chose to keep my landline, switched to Digital Voice a few weeks ago, and also Voicemail and Call Protect. Both Voicemail and Call Protect were switched off that day and I am unable turn them on again.  Phoning BT I am told they will only be available again after 20th October installation date and there was nothing they could do about it.

My reward for renewing my contract with BT is to lose services previously enjoyed for a two week period. How is this right?
